WRITINGS
Oh, that’s so kind of you to come and look for things I’ve wrote. You’re very kind. Here’s some things I’ve written.
MAN’S BEST FRIEND - Fiction, a one-page screenplay about the life of a man and his loyal pet.
THE GIRL WHO SAID NO - Fiction, magical realism. A calm apocalypse.
EMMA - Fiction, a man and a droid. Takes place in the Star Wars universe, but just barely.
AN EXCERPT FROM ON THE VARYING FORMS OF SORCEROUS, WIZARDIC, HERETICAL AND MISCELLANEOUS ARCANA, VOL. 6 - TEXTUAL REVISION BY MGS. DOROTHY QUENTIN RENOIT - Fiction, a small bit from a textbook for mages.
THE EARNESTY OF BEING IMPORTANT - Fiction, magical realism. Someone wants something they can’t have, and it’s very sad.
REST - Fiction, Portal fanfiction. Written just before Portal 2, so the characterization is off. The only real fanfiction I’ve ever written.
GRAPHENE - Fiction, sexy cyborgs having sex in cyberpunk Detroit. (Graphene, for those who don’t keep up on weird technology, is a 2D material that could someday replace silicon in computers.) (WARNING: THIS ONE IS HALF PORN)
A MESSAGE TO ALL THE MALES IN THE AUDIENCE TONIGHT - Nonfiction, discussing the myth of the “Friend Zone” and how it’s really just something guys use to think of women as less than people.
ALTERNATE EARLY-2000’S RECORDING INDUSTRY FANFICTION - Fiction, and pretty dumb. But a boy can dream.
THE SILICON VALLEY KNIGHTS - Fiction, Tech’s new generation of entrepreneurs fighting crime. Soon to be a major motion picture!
THE BOT CONVERSATION - Nonfiction, kinda. A spam bot messaged me, and I responded.
REGARDING YEGEVNY - Fiction, war story about a pro-tech heretic in a world ravaged by AI.
In addition, I have written several nonfiction columns regarding tech and media at my blog, Give Me Information. It updates more or less once a month.
Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy these things.
